Story (fair warning the story kind of just abruptly ends- sorry y'all I'm bad at conclusions :3): Greenwing and his mate-Seasong have just had a kit together, Seawing. As they are training Seawing to walk Greenwing realise that they are out of prey and goes hunting. While he is gone a small group of red-wave-of-fear cats attack Seawing and her mother. As soon as Greenwing got back from his hunt and noticed what was happening he dropped the pray from his jaws and joined the fight, saving Seawing from slaughter. Once Greenwing had chased the red-wave-of-fear cats off and the area was clear he realized that during the act of saving his daughter Seasong was not-lived. Greenwing and Seawing were devastated. They huddled next to the cat's dead body and paid their last respects before Greenwing buried his old mate. After he was done Greenwing decided to leave his home, if he didn't the red-wave-of-fear would be back and he would be puting not only his but his kit's life in danger. He grabbed his kit buy the scruff of her neck and carried her through the forest. About 4 hours into their journey Greenwing heard a loud rumbling noise coming from the kit he was carrying and remembered that they hadn't eaten since they had left home. He dropped Seawing and dug a little bit into the earth and grabbed a little bit of moss put over it and left a little hole in it- just big enough for Seawing to squeeze in. Once his daughter was inside the small cave Greenwing made, he put more moss over the hole so no cat could see Seawing while he was gone out hunting. When Greenwing came back he had a rat and a mouse in his jaws. As he hungrily scarfed down the rat and tried to feed Seawing, Greenwing remembered something awful, his kit was too young to eat solid food! This meant his kit would not be able to survive unless he could find a milking she-cat who could feed her. He frantically searched for anyone that could help Seawing- for kits need a lot of milk for them to have enough energy to survive. After about 15 minutes of searching Greenwing finally found something that could help— Love-tribe. Tribes almost always have at least one cat nursing their young so someone in that tribe should be able to help Seawing. The only problem was Greenwing. If a tribe saw a kit in need they would help it, but if a grown cat invading their territory is what they see they would chase them out for sure. So Greenwing did what he thought would be safest for Seawing— he left her at the edge of Love-tribes territory. Well- of course he didn't just leave her. He watched her from the bushes to make sure she was going to be ok. And when the Love-tribe chief (Forest) found Seawing and took her in, Greenwing stayed for the whole season to watch over his daughter and make sure that love-tribe would be a safe place for her to grow up. When Greenwing grew to be 42 seasons old he went back to Love-tribe and he met his daughter- who was hunting alone. “Hello Seawing,” he said. Startled, Seawing turned around and locked eyes with her father as she said, “Who are you and how do you know my name?” Greenwing chuckled as he replied with, “I am Greenwing, also known as your father. And I have come to bring you back to your old home.” Seawing stumbled back as she stared in disbelief “Greenwing- my father- wait a minute- take me home?!?” Seawing stepped closer to her father as she spoke “Love-tribe is my home!” “Not your original home” Seawing looked astounded as she replied with “Tell me, what happened to my original home?” Greenwing looked at his daughter and chuckled “You sound like your mother. Very well, I will tell you the whole story.” After he explained everything Seawing said “I understand now, and I would go with you but like I said before I Love-tribe is my home— at least now.” Greenwing looked at his daughter and said “ I understand you want to stay in the place that you were raised in but without your mother you are the only family I have left, please come with me.” She turned her head away from her father and said “I cannot leave," Suddenly her face lit up, "But you can join me in Love-tribe!” Greenwing shook his head "No, I can't. tribal life is not for me, but if you can't come with me now how about come with me some other time then?" Seawing thought for a moment. Then turned her face towards her father as her face lit up again. “Once I turn 50, which will be in 29 seasons, I will officially be a wiser! And wisers don't do much for the tribe other than tell stories and give advice, but any ol’ cat can do that, so I can come live with you when I'm 50!” “29 seasons will be a long time but I suppose I can wait to get to live with you for the rest of my life after then,” Greenwing said before he turned and left. He went back to his home and waited patiently for 29 seasons for his daughter to return. And when she did they lived a happy 3 human years together. (before they not-lived lol) ~The End~
