Family: Firepelt (father, deceased), Lionleaf (mother, deceased) Backstory: Her parents (Firepelt- father, Lionleaf- mother) were kittypets that ran away from their owner who planned to sell them and was stopping at the wildlife center in Earthclan as a friend of theirs was having birthday. They were from two non-related litters and were accepted by a DawnClan leader. Lionleaf became a medicine cat meanwhile Firepelt became a good warrior. After many years of trying, Dapplespot was born as a single kit. Around that time, Firepelt died. Deathberries were found in his meal and the second medicine cat who was accused of poisoning Firepelt was banished- it was actually Lionleaf who was suspicious, but due to cheating on Firepelt with the leader of DawnClan,- he loved her blindly- she was free of any danger, could raise her kit safely as a medicine cat and get away with basically everything. At first, Dapplespot was training to be a warrior, but Lionleaf convinced the leader to change her rank to a medicine cat apprentice against her will. She was training with her mother for just a moon when she died of an unknown cause. Since the war was just declared between DawnClan and RainClan, Dapplespot had no one to teach her- all warriors had 2 or 3 apprentices already- including the leader who passed some time after, and a new medicine cat was already too busy, training her apprentice just barely, there was no choice but to make Dapplespot a full medcine cat at the age of 10 moons.
