Okay, this was much more fun to design. I had fun reading up tutorials on how to draw the kimono and hanfu at 1 am. I tried to sort of merge them and add a slight... flare? This is probably more western, but part of that is because I didn't draw the "obi" thick enough. Kimonos are supposed to make the woman look more flat and straight. I went for more asymmetry with this one. With the hanfu, I added their jade thingy, except it's no longer jade. There's only one part of this design that isn't red, it's ✨pink✨Okay one's right between the two. By the way, the right side being over the left is on purpose. I won't say what it means, but it is correct for anyone that knows what I'm talking about. and gosh frammit I forgot the lipstick
For the first critique, her eyes are true red. Why did I do this so much? There was never a need. Ever. There were a few issues with the color palette. The main thing is that I didn't use the same colors for the three artworks she was in, I kept changing them around. So I knew this in the first one and used the lipstick to cover it up, but the way she's smiling kinda makes her look like that one mean kid from Toy Story. Honestly, there's not much to say about this one. I think her general look shows who she is just fine. I wish I didn't always do icons back then, it could've made my art so much more- technically good? I don't know, it's just me trying to escape doing hard stuff.
