Angelica walked across her lawn, feeling pride swell up in her chest. She had just came out to her best friend, Owen, as Aromantic Asexual. And He told her that he actually liked boys. She felt validated that one of her best friends shared the same secret as her, A secret she had worked so hard to keep. "Hey!" someone said behind her. She turned to see Owen, standing in the sidewalk in front of her house. "Is it okay if a keep the dress i borrowed a little longer? My boyfriend asked me on a date and i thought i'd wear it then" He asked. Angelica smiled "Of course!" "Thanks!" He disappeared down the block. Angelica smiled and shook her head, Owen was always borrowing her dresses. She didn't mind, she didn't like dresses to much. but he did. She walked up to the house and paused at the doorway. After a moment, she pushed open the door and almost rammed into her mom, who was waiting in the hallway. "Come in, I have something important to tell you" She snapped, pulling Angelica in by her arm. "So" Her mom said as they where walking "I know your little secret." Angelica gasped, her chest tightening up. "And whats That?" She replied stiffly "That you apparenttly 'don't feel romantic attraction" Mom rolled her eyes "Come on Angelica, your being dramatic" Angelica stiffened, but didn't say anything. "And thats why we are setting you up with a boyfriend" she said. Angelica opened her mouth in protest, but Mom shushed her. "Its someone you like, i promise" "Oh yea, whos that?"
