Notes: Commenting I know the commenters didn’t mean their comments to come off as bad, so therefore absolutely no hate towards them at all. However, comments like this can be harmful to both parties. The commenter is lowering their self value and comparing themselves to someone else, and the artist might feel bad because of the commenter. It’s best to just compliment someone’s art instead of comparing yourself to them. Comparing yourself: As an artist, it’s hard to not look at everyone’s art and think badly of your own art style. However, other artists have probably taken years to perfect their style, and everyone’s different and unique. Critiquing your art and wishing it was like someone else’s takes away the best part of your art - it takes away your individuality.
