ā----------------- 1. how are you? just wanted to tell you that you are beautiful, smart, amazing, and you deserve the world. I'm pretty good although I've been pretty anxious for no reason. 2. what kind of art do you enjoy doing? I like digital art mostly, but I do enjoy drawing with markers. Colored pencils are frustrating to me. 3. what is you favorite medium? Still digital :) 4. who is your favorite artist? Probably Prickly Alpaca on Youtube, her use of color and character designing skills are so amazing, plus she's just a really chill person to watch. 5. where do you get your inspiration? Since I'm not really allowed to have social media , ( parents amiright) mostly Youtube. 6. what do you like to create? I'm not really sure. I like drawing art of my characters, but only when I have a certain thing in mind or I saw an outfit I really thought one of them would wear. 7. when have you started doing art? I started drawing as a hobby about 1 year ago. 8. are you planning/doing art for a career? I don't know, I really just haven't thought of my career path yet, I just wanna get through middle school. 9. do you post art here? Mhm! 10. are you interested in art history? Yes, but more of how materials like paints were made and art with cultural meaning, the rest seems kinda boring to me. 11. do you go to any classes for art? No, haha I'm really determined on not doing any art classes because I've done it before and I hate being told what to draw. 12. list 5 of your inspirations. it can be anyone! (Again) Prickly alpaca on YT, Oliver's Antics on YT, Sad ist on YT, LP Blender on Scratch, and Cherriiskies on Scratch. 13. do you ever get burnt out? if so, how do you deal with it? I take enough breaks inbetween drawings that I don't think I've ever gotten burnt out. 14. what supplies do you use to draw? A windows-Pro-10-something tablet and the stylist that goes with it, some really bad thin paper, also pretty bad colored pencils, and a whole drawer full of markers from different sets. 15. do you like painting? Not that much. 16. do you sell your artwork? Lol I don't think I'm there yet. Nobodies gonna commision me anyways. 17. what do you like to listen to while you draw? Mostly Youtube videos, nothing exciting. 18. what's the hardest thing in art for you? t e x t u r e 19. what skill are you learning/want to learn? Fur on animals, I guess that's texture too though. 20. do you put filters over your artwork? Very rarely. 21. does you family support you and your art? My art? Most of the time. Me? Ummm... 22. do you consider yourself as a beginner? No but I could certainly be more experianced. 23. what is a rule you always go by when creating art? Once you've done shading and lighting, you're not going back to change anything. 24. do you like drawing backgrounds? Depends. 25. can someone commission you? if so, put details! I mean if you really want to- ( still probably no) 26. what is the most important part of art? (color, form, etc.) Expressions and positioning. If you're drawing some living being, ( not a plant though lol) give it something to do/feel. Otherwise, what's the purpose of drawing it? 27. do you like to shade? I like how it looks, don't like doing it. 28. if you were to give a young artist a piece of advice, what would it be? There's nothing wrong with taking inspiration, as long as you're not literally copying something and you're doing it to help yourself grow. I was so determined in not taking inspiration from others works because I thought it would stunt my growth or I would get in trouble because of it. I'm not saying " Oh GO tRAcE oVEr STUfF, It'S FinE!!", I'm saying that you can't just expect yourself to magically learn how to draw by just figuring it out. I mean, technically you can, but it's good to have people you look up to and to try to find out how they make their art. It's not stealing. Also, there's no such thing as artstyle theft. Literally everyone in the world has an artstyle. You can steal art, but not a style. 29. as an artist, where do you see yourself in 2 years? Idk, hopefully my account will still be running. 30. last question! do you genuinely enjoy making art? Yes! I do like to have some creative freedom though.
Sorry for no drawing I don't have the time....
