From Maps to Collabs to Art Studios where they want the “best of the best”, there seems to be one thing in common; Things along these lines. “Don’t spam us to look at your application, we look at everyone’s” “Don’t get mad if your not accepted” “If i don’t reply within a few days, your not accepted” “If your comment is ignored or people above you have gotten in, assume that means you weren’t accepted” Okay okay, I get it when you want great people in your dumb little club or you want great animators(cough cough or people with over 500 follows) in your maps. But just saying “Oh hey, if we ignore you that means you aren’t good enough for this” isn’t good enough You should at least try to say something so they’re not left hanging on, waiting for a reply. And ask if they want feedback on how to improve! If you have the time ofc. (We seriously need more people giving requested criticism, I see lots of people saying “No asking for advice” XD) I’ve reworded this a bit since I’ve got a lot of complaints about how the analogy didn’t work and stuff, I wrote this when I was tired so I didn’t put much thought XD
DISCLAIMER: I am not saying to go attack someone for not letting “less-experienced” people get in there things. I’m saying that people shouldn’t just ignore someone if they don’t like their content Update: Okay, so to clear things up a bit, maybe people could do something like at least saying “viewed” on an application to not have the person anxiously waiting for an answer. I may have forgotten how many people get too many applications to reply to, and the shy and the upset people that could happen from this. I’m just pointing this problem out from the perspective of someone who has seen a lot of people flat out ignoring nearly everyone, and I personally would’ve rather been told what was wrong so I could improve to join faster :’). Update two: This is just how I feel and that I prefer to be acknowledged when I apply to things, even if I don’t get in. I get not everyone feels this way tho, but can everyone please stop spamming the “partially agree” and long explanations of how you’d rather be ignored. It’s getting tiring writing the same response to everyone about how I feel this from personal experience and how I like help improving, so if I get anymore of these, unless they have new points to add I’m most likely not gonna be replying anymore. -Loved by , , , -, , commented Um,
