#NotGumii #Meiasaur #Collab #Art #ArtCollab — Collab: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/564367509/ Finished Collab: (TBA) — Eydl stood peacefully in the middle of the field with her father's guitar in hand. She reminisced her childhood, the years when her father was still able to be there. She missed his honey-smooth laugh, his bright smile, his sweet, vanilla scent. She missed /him/. Those were the days young Eydl wished to return to. The memories of a perfect, innocent childhood were like a hug from an old friend. Alas, she knew she could never go back - but if only she could. The wind whispered in the light brunette's ear, the song of nature filling her. Her skirt swayed lightly and her hair danced around, perfectly framing her face. "Oh, I wish you were here, father," she thought. "I miss you so," she whispered. The melancholy message slipped through the female's mouth and was carried away with the breeze. — When @-iceqream- invited me to her fleur-themed art collab, I checked it out as I do with every invite. I scrolled through the description but immediately stopped when my eyes finally landing on the flower 'edelweiss'. Speedrunning to the comment section, I filled out the form and sent it. I had a PERFECT idea and I want so badly to do it! You see, I was reminded of the song from 'The Sound of Music'. I'd sing this song while my mom played her guitar, my sister angelically singing along; we still do. (This song has a special place in my heart.) Once I got the 'OK,' I started sketching as soon as possible. I'm super happy with the result of my work! It's definitely a different take, but that's what I was going for! (Don't mind that the guitar has 3 strings. Any line thickness smaller, you wouldn't be able to see them.) Critique is always welcome! :) — Art by (Meiasaur) - Inspiration from The Sound of Music <3 Collab hosted by Autodesk Sketchbook (3+ hours) - I used a different brush and I am in LOVE! - I abused overlay.
