hey guys! it's been so long haha, i just wanted to check in with a little update i guess so i'm leaving scratch - it's been overdue and probably isn't surprising, but i thought i would just make a formal project anyways xD school just started and it's going pretty well, but the homework load is pretty intense, and with that on top of band practices and other commitments i just can't really find time to go on scratch plus, i feel like i've been burnt out and i barely have any scratch ideas anymore - i really don't want to force myself to make projects i'm not interested in a majority of my scratch friends have left or are mostly inactive, and i feel like there's no one here for me to talk to anymore. i guess you could argue that i could make new friends, but i feel like that would be sort of out of place xD it's hard to describe, but i just feel like i've moved on scratch has taught me so much about coding, art, animation, and how to interact online, and i feel grateful for my experiences here, as well as all the great friends i've made, even if i haven't kept in touch with most of you. if you have any art trades or other commitments you would like me to finish (there's one art trade with @classyfroggo--, other than that i don't exactly remember), please let me know as soon as possible so i can get to that ^^ about sds commitments, i probably won't be super active there but i'll try to help out - i put in so much work to get that position so i'm not planning on giving it up completely about swc, i won't be doing it in november and probably not after that either - i made so many great friends in swc so i'm a little sad about that but swc is just so stressful and i don't think i'll have time. lastly, i just want to say thanks to everyone here - the scratch team who run this place, the swc hosts who put in so much work, my amazing friends, and everyone who made scratch a great place to be ^^ and i guess that's it! well - bye for now, i hope we meet again <3
