An up-close snippet of the cover of 'The Wee Free Men' by Terry Pratchett. This one is Daft Wullie (the egg thief). I plan to do more feegles from this image later. @Constable-Angua was the first to love and fave, within an hour of my releasing this. @coder_blocks was the second, about a day later. I appreciate this! I'm thinking of expanding this into something where it starts with a picture of the cover and you can click on different feegles to see my block shaded version. For now, though, just be content with what I had time for. This was much simpler (but not necessarily less time-consuming) than my Tiffany Aching block shade, but the highly detailed pixelated bits like the face still presented an interesting challenge.
My other block shading project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/564141344/ (Not counting the unshared ones I did primarily to learn the skills needed to do block shading, all of which are horrible) Thanks to @Teppic for inspiring me to start block shading by making the project 'Greyscale Blockshade Cheese'. The tutorial I used to learn block shading is: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/355847748/ #art #blockshade #discworld
