Today is 9/11. Twenty years ago terroists attacked the twin towers and the pentagon in planes; if you go to New York today they have a memorial where the twin towers once stood. Here's a fun fact(not really that fun): My grandpa used to work at the World Trade Center, but 9/11 was his day off(which is a really weird coincidence).
