(I'm sorry about Arnold, he loves randomly appearing in things that don't belong to him, along with his random pony friend.) Roles: Leader: The leader of ShatteredClan must be brave, loyal, and kind towards his or her Clanmates. They must nurture them to greatness! Deputy: The right-paw cat to the leader who is always there to step in at a moment's notice. They always send out the daily patrols. Medicine Cat: The healer who will always be there to race into battle with their knowledge of herbs and spectacular connection to the Spirits of the Stars and Moon (Basically their StarClan). Very rarely do the ShatteredClan medicine cats make contact with StarClan. Medicine Cat Apprentice: A young cat who is ready to learn all about the spirits and the ShatteredClan ancestors, as well as learning to heal the cats around them. (6-13 Moons, and rare occasions they will train for 6-15 Moons for a special ShatteredClan job) Warriors: A cat who takes an oath by the ShatteredClan leader to serve their Clan until their final breath, and help the Clan with hunting, battling, guarding, and much more. (The Warrior Oath: "I swear by the Spirits of the Stars and Moon, by our great ancestors to defend ShatteredClan until my final gasp for air, and I will forever help any of the cats in need.") Queen: A she-cat who cares, gives birth, and adopts kits. This is typically a warrior who decides to have kits and then returns to her duties, but in some cases, a Queen will find herself quite confortable in the nursery and decide to stay. Apprentices: Brave kits who have aged up enough and move through the Clan, learning everything the must know about becoming a warrior, queen, or one of the special ShatteredClan roles. (6-12 Moons) (Oath: I will train my hardest to become a strong ShatteredClan member, to defend, to help, to care, to help my Clan be strong and brave.) Kits: Young, playful, energetic cats who are much to young to train, but just being alive brings the Clans joy. (0-6 Moons) Elders: Typically cats who have served their time in ShatteredClan and are ready to settle down. In rare cases it is a sickly cat who cannot fulfill or carry out their duties. This is called "Broken Oath" and is renewed with a new oath, the "Wisdom Oath". (Oath: I may have been unable to finish my duties, but instead I will give my Clan the wisdom they need and seek to thrive.) Special ShatteredClan Roles: Spirit Healer: A cat who instead trains to connect with a cat's inner spirit to help heal them. Typically was trained to be a Medicine Cat. (Oath: I swear on every bone in my body I will help heal cats from the inside, and help save them with the spirits.) Messenger: A cat who seeks the spirit's and ancestor's and even the demon's and shadow's wisdom and whisper the wisdom to the leader, medicine cat, or medicine cat apprentice. Other Clans: The two other Clans are AmberClan and OakClan. AmberClan is a lush thriving Clan that lives in the caves and caverns. They use the tunnels, caverns, and caves a lot more than ShatteredClan and OakClan. AmberClan eats mostly cave animals such as large rats, fish, and sometimes the occasional bat with fill their bellies. OakClan lives in the tops of the trees, dashing through the leaves to get the last squirrel of the evening. They eat squirrels, birds, and other animals that live high in the treetops. At the edge of OakClan territory there is a twoleg area, which is forcing them to go deeper into unknown territory of trees, and higher up the mountain where ShatteredClan lives.
Traditions: -ShatteredClan often uses plants to help make their Clan prettier and more concealed. They have sacred trees and beautiful bushes they would plant after a loved one passes. Sometimes they wear the plants leaves and flowers in their fur and nests. The leader often gets the most of these gifts nature has given them. -Cats are typically buried under the sacred willow that has peculiar pink leaves and blossoming petals. It is their sacred burial grounds and it is where most cats come to communicate with the spirits. -ShatteredClan is very religious with spirits, demons, ancestors, and shadows, and most cats can communicate with them anytime needed or wanted, unless the cat has offended them. -For about a quarter moon, the cat who has passed will watch over the Clan before they are finally greeted by spirits or shadows and invited into their new home. And not all shadows are bad, only demons are evil! -If an Apprentice is about to become a Warrior, in ShatteredClan, they must do a sacred ritual with some of the plants with shattered leaves. This will go on for a moon, and if they do not survive, or come back, they are believed to not be fit for their role. All Clans do this ritual, but AmberClan does it with rocks and OakClan does it with the river. -If a cat wants kits and they can't have them, then they go to the medicine cat who takes them to a special place where a cat will mysteriously find kits and bring them to the area. This cat's name is Dusted Shadows and is a male, roleplayed by me because I want this role to already be set in stone. -The Moontree is basically the Moonstone/pool and is where cats go for three days to enjoy being a single Clan for a while, being happy with each other. -The Warriors code is the same as the books.
