hi guys! When i was planning the map of the studioverse with sam, we suggested concept art so here's all the sketches and drawrings i did over the last few weeks of the summer in chronological order. here's an explanation for each 1.this is my first floating island which is partially based on a youtube tutorial which i soon got bored with and did my own thing which in then end was good cause it meant i could develop my own style. 2. my first attempt with no guidlines i was pretty pleased at the time but did i do a good job? you tell me. 3. i then started to draw hot air balloons because of lax's idea of tonnes of floating homes in the hot air balloons and i think sam's (?) story where they fly around the air sector in a hot air balloon 4. these are more sketches of hot air balloons for ideas of what they would look like 5. this was my most recent attempt and the one i'm most proud of 6.A small part of the cloud village which borders the water sector i plan to draw more for this becuase i love the idea 7. and a drawring where i add all of them together! -apart from the clouds- i loved ding's idea of hanging gardens so i couldn't not draw it . if you'll notice i also drew myself in this universe drawring in my sketchpad the scene that i'm currently sitting in. 8.not necessarily a new one but i didn't think the scratch quality did her smile justice so here's a close up
i added the crystals in the rock of the last one because i noticed that my light source as wrong for my shading so i had to add a light source coming from the rock it'self XD
