This is my new OC! Meet Hollyfang. Son of Foxclaw and Darkflame. Just like his mother, he was bi and poly. As a kit, Holly had an urge to explore the forest and attack whatever came his way. Foxclaw had told him she was just like him as a kit and that runts are usually the strongest of their littermates. This made Holly even more determined. He ran off into the forest when Dark and Fox weren't looking, in search of a worthy opponent to prove himself worthy of their pride. He came across a mother badger and they fought. With his life on the line, Holly took down the huge badger, only left with a few scars. Then, the badger's kits came running at him and he was outnumbered. A young rogue found him and wanted to save him but Holly figured out a way to kill them all. The stranger approached the dark tom and smiled at him. His name was Midnight and he told Holly that he had never seen such a small kit kill a family of badgers before. Holly was so proud of himself. The two became best friends and hung out every night when Holly's brothers and parents were asleep. After a while, Holly soon realized he had developed feelings for the brown tom. Midnight always messed around with him, knowing of his love for him. Midnight had felt the same and was always ready to protect Holly at any cost, but every time, Holly always held his own. A few moons later, a young she-kit named Birchkit fell in love with Holly, too. He didn't know what to do so he accepted her and became her boyfriend. He didn't realize his decision would cause him to have feelings for her as well as Midnight. At this point, he did eventually tell Birch he loved someone else just as much as her, but instead of fury or sadness, she allowed him to still date her and Midnight. Foxclaw had died a moon before they started dating and Dark was left alone to take care of Holly and his brothers, Spiderpaw, Burnkit, and Jaykit. Fox was always there for them, really, but she had chosen to stay in the burning fires of the Dark Forest to protect her family from Pinescar, Melodia, and Pine's mate, Bloodflower. Just before Holly was about to go back home, a dog attacked him and tore the right side of his face, leaving him partially blinded and his ear destroyed. He thought he was a disappointment to his tough and dangerous parents but Birch helped him realize he wasn't and that even with his scars, she still loved him. Holly stayed with her most of the time because Midnight never bothered to come to be with him. He thought it was his fault Holly got hurt and he didn't want to show his face in fear Holly would be mad at him. When they finally spoke again, they got into a fight. Midnight had repeatedly told him that he did everything for Holly. That no matter what happened, he always stayed with him. Holly explained he didn't need someone to keep him safe but it only made Midnight furious. "So no matter what I do, you'll never appreciate it? Is that it?" he snapped at him. "Midnight, no! You don't understand! I'm not letting you just treat me like a princess waiting to be saved! I can handle myself!" "Oh really? You can handle yourself? Look what happened!! That thing almost killed you because of me! I tried to help but it just got you hurt and even though I gave you all the time you needed, you still don't care!" "MIDNIGHT. DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO MAKE YOU HAPPY? I FIGHT ON MY OWN BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU GET HURT." "Well. Then I guess you are a dirt bag... you'll never accept me... and all I do for you... Hah... If you can handle it... then let's see how you handle being on your own..." Midnight turned and sat in his nest. Holly teared up and ran home, feeling like he failed him. Midnight realized what he said and teared up, curling up in his nest. "I just don't want to lose you, Holly...." He imagined saying that to Holly over and over and every time, his mind visioned Holly saying, "You already have..." (the rest of his backstory is undetermined, but I'm getting ideas. Once I have his whole life down, I'll put it in his backstory for you guys. Just give me a few weeks or less.)
