Music: The Magic Inside. Yeah, it's my little pony it's still an awesome song and totally fits with this character so deal with it. (Shadowheart's Backstory) Brightheart was walking around in a white void. She thought hard, how had she got here? When did she get her? What was this place? Where was she?! She then spotted a black figure in the distance. "Hello?" She called. No one answered. She began walking towards the figure not having much else to do. But as soon as she neared the figure she was suddenly in what looked like a battlefield. The grass was torn and claw marks were on trees and stone. Brightheart gasped at the brutal sight. She then realized she was pinning down a grey she-cat. What was happening?! Cats of all ages were crowded around her. She didn't recognize any of them. But two of them somehow seemed familiar... An older white she-cat and a grey she-cat. Then she suddenly remembered how she had got here moons ago. One year before... Brightpaw was running with her sister Rainpaw up a hill. She couldn't wait to be a warrior! She would be the best warrior ever in fact! "Come find me Brightpaw!" Rainpaw shouted with a giggle. "Brightpaw..." A voice suddenly hissed behind her. Brightpaw turned around. "Uh.. yes?" Brightpaw said. curious who this strange cat was. A white she-cat pushed her way out of the undergrowth. Brightpaw stood there stunned for a moment. This was her mother! The cat who had abandoned Rainpaw and her at birth! The cat who had supposedly harmed many! "M-mother?" Brightpaw stammered. "Follow me," Bonestar said. "But what about Rainpa-" "I don't care about your sister, I have something important to show you," Bonestar interrupted. Brightpaw blinked, following. Bonestar stopped at a pond it had some strange black goo in it. "What's this place?" Brightpaw asked. "When you were born I saw that you would become ruler of Warclan," Bonestar meowed, ignoring her question. "Really?" Brightpaw asked, excited. "Oh, yes. I saw you would help me do many things... such as take over the four clans," Bonstar chuckled. Brightpaw thought for a moment. "How can-" "But you won't help me, because you're too soft. That's why I abandoned you. I hoped it would teach you hardship, but of course, the clans found you," Bonestar growled. "That's why we're doing it the hard way," Before Brightpaw could ask what she meant Bonestar slammed into her, knocking her into the thick black twoleg goo. Brightpaw screamed as she began sinking to the bottom. She struggled and kicked but alas, her attempts were in vain, the goo was too thick to escape and she began drowning. Brightpaw woke up in a strange void. "I can save you," An unfamiliar voice hissed. "Right now you are drowning, you will soon d!e," "I don't understand, why would my mother do this?!" Brightpaw asked. "To help you, Brightheart," The voice seemed to smile. "I'm only an apprentice..." "No longer are you, you are now Brightheart," The voice stated. Brightpaw frowned. Who was this cat? "Look, your sister is looking for you, what will she do when she finds out your dead?" The voice said. The void suddenly became the field she had been playing in only moments ago. "Brightpaw? Brightpaw where'd you go?" Rainpaw was shouting. Brightpaw just stared at the picture. What would her sister do? Tears formed in her eyes. "Join me Brightheart and you will become leader, don't worry we will keep an eye on Rainflower she will join us soon," The voice said. Suddenly a cat was in front of her a black she-cat. Then something strange happened Brightheart touched the cat and suddenly things were very different... One year later... Brightheart gasped. "This is not what I wanted! I didn't want to hurt anyone! I didn't know any of this would happen!" Brightheart screamed no one replied. Then she was on top of what she recognized from stories as her aunt; Dripstone. Brightheart backed up. "I-i'm sorry I didn't mean for any of this," Brightheart sobbed. (And you know what happens next she starts a clan with her sister and a few other cats and that clan grows and Brightheart is at peace)
