✧---------------------------☆---------------------------✧ Hey everybody! I'm finally finished with my ocs Peyton and Amari's origin story animatic!! This took 20hrs+ over the course of two weeks *wipes away sweat* I made this to test my animation and story telling skills and to practice, you can tell which backgrounds I made first and which I made last haha Want to know more about my ocs? Well, Ummi is blue but that's a coincidence. - Yes, they are twins. Fraternal. - No, Amari cannot walk unassisted, she has spina bifida. - The one with the black eye is Peyton, the one that bites is Amari. >:) ✧---------------------------☆---------------------------✧ Animatic Explanation: - Note: Please don't read until you've finished the animatic! Amari is dreaming/recalling her past. She and Peyton were in an abusive household with neglected and alcoholic parents. One night when they were around 5yrs old, Amari up and decided to leave with Peyton. She woke them up in the middle of the night and they left. They spent a few nights in the forest and are lucky to have survived and not eaten anything poisonous. Then this tall woman showed up and Amari, who never trusts anyone, jumped and bit her causing her to run away. That woman was Ummi. Ummi has a soft spot for children and, lo and behold, she found two sleeping under a tree on her way to work that morning. Calling out to them, she noticed the scars and bruises, then she was attacked. Running away from pure fright she ended up at her home. After patching herself up she made a decision. she would help these kids. She packed some food, featuring her famous meat buns, and brought them back to the forest spot where she had seen the kids first. Relieved they were still there, she dropped the basket 5ft away and stepped back expressing her non-violent intentions. After a few minutes Amari worked up the courage to explore the basket. what she found inside was heavenly. Ummi sat back and watched as they gobbled it up. After a while she nodded to sleep. When she came to, she noticed the children had curled up on her lap, expressing their trust. She carefully picked them both up, one in each arm, and carried them home. laying them in her bed, she would have to make due with the couch that night, Dragon, her pet fox, jumped onto the bed and snuggled in for the night ... Amari woke up and, smiling at the memories, rested her eyes once again. Song is Little Moth
