Acornpaw dug his claws into the ground as Flailingheight brought him to the medicine den after the ceremony. Sweetpaw raced through the forest after Streamtwig and Straightnose, Straightnose was here to help them navigate the territory. “Lets start with hunting, can you smell any prey?” Yeah I smell mouse that way,” She said pointing her tail toward a big oak that was really far away honestly. “Where exactly? At that big oak tree,” Streamtwig peered through the branches but coudnt see anything. “Do you mean the climbing oak? Thats many mouse lengths from here.” Ill show you!” She rushed through the forest and it took a long time but they got to the oak tree. She realized that she could see the oak when she scented the mouse! Was that normal she wondered? “Its right there,” she murmured pointing her tail to a root where a mouse was eating a nut. “Wow you have good scent but how did you find your way through the forest?” I followed the scent!” She lied guitily. “Well how about you try to catch it then!” Ok!” She dropped into a crouch instinctively and tucked her tail against her side and started creeping toward the mouse, when she got close enough she pounced! Streamtwig whispered something in Straightnoses ear, she heard it easily, “How could she scent that mouse from so far and she dropped into a perfect hunting crouch her tail tucked against her side and everything, I dont think thats raw talent,” Straightnose whispered back. “Yeah we should say something to Strikestar and Lakestar, maybe the medicine cats too this isnt natural theres something wrong I think.” Great job! You got the hunting crouch perfect!” Sweetpaw tried to pretend to be really proud but she was nervous, what if Arrow Clan kicked her out! When they got back to camp Straightnose and Streamtwig went straight to Lakestar. They called Ravenpaw and Acornpaw in, she could only here what Ravenpaw was saying, “She definitely has a weird thing I think its dangerous, One time I tried to sneak up on her she was on one side of camp I was on the other and she found me as soon as I moved!” She needs to go if she turns sides who knows what could happen!” When Sweetpaw heard the last part of his words her heart cracked in half, her own brother wanted her out of the clan…
