It was released in 2011, dedicated to all people with disabilities. The song itself is sung by a blind singer. I created this AMV based on the lyrics. The girl is blind, but her other senses are strong and imaginative. The scent the soft petals of the flowers makes her imagine the world as a beautiful place. But in reality, only the flowers are beautiful, everything else is dull and drab. ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* Patriotic Notes ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ As a certified patriot (lol), I’ll show you the proper pronunciation of the song, I’ll also include a translation of the excerpt in the AMV. ‘Ahan Inna, Ahagena Inna Mage hitha monawada mumunanawa’ The underlined ‘a’s are pronounced flatly. The ‘th’ sound in ‘Hitha’ is pronounced like ‘th’ in Thames. Also, here’s the literal translation. “Listen, Keep Listening, My mind is murmuring something.” ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* Notes on Sinhala Language *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ The Sinhala language may look complex for native English speakers, and native Sinhala speakers may get confused when learning English. Because the sentence structure is different. Sinhala follows ‘subject + object + verb’ sentence structure. While English follows ‘subject + verb + object’ My + mind = Mage + Hitha } Subject Something = Monawada } Object Mumunanawa = Murmuring/Mumbling } Verb Funfact, this among us emoticon is actually a letter from the Sinhala alphabet (which is no longer used, but still exists) --- ඞ Now, I shall type up Ahan inna in Sinhala =P අහන් ඉන්න, අහගෙන ඉන්න මගෙ හිත මොනවද මුමුනනවා Another funfact, there are 3 main languages in Sri Lanka: Sinhala, Tamil and English. Sri Lankan students are taught all three languages. I’m fluent in both English & Sinhala and I can read Tamil :3 (I'm not very fluent in speaking it tho =’D) ANOTHER FUNFACT – in Power Force, Banana and Yeolin are Sinhalese while Ashane is Tamil. If you didn’t know, the overall setting of the story is in Sri Lanka. ✍(◔◡◔)
