Angelica slung her backpack over her shoulder, dreading whatever her parents where going to say to her today. She has been in her room ever since she got home from school yestererday, and she was afraid that they were mad at her. Whatever, let them be mad. Supirislingly, though, her parents didn't say anything as she marched downstairs like a zombie. She Made herself a bowl of cereal, and finished her homework at the dining table. She tried to avoid conversation as she quickly finished her morning routine.Once she was finished, Angelica rushed out the door, keeping her head down the whole way. But during her escape, she bumped into Owen, whos finger was hovering over the doorbell. "Ouch" he complained, rubbing his side "Good thing my parents inisisted I come to the door to get you, to be a gentlemen or something, but maybe if I didn't my ribs would still be intact" Angelica laughed "Sorry, Owen, I was in a rush to get out of the house" She froze when she realized who was standing on the sidewalk in front of her house. Owens parents, and they didn't look to happy their sons gentleman stunt didn't go to well. And you'll never guess who opened the door and almost flattened Owen the second time. Angelicas parents. "Why do people keep hitting me with a door?" Owen complained. Angelica wrapped her friend in a bear hug and said "There, There" The parents seemed to enjoy Angelicas affection, so they didn't say anything "Your breaking my ribs even more, if thats possible" Owen gasped. Angelica laughed "Thats the point" "Well' Said Owens father, clad in a over the top buiness suit "Seems like you two are getting into your relationship just fine!" Angelica would argue that all of this was platonic affection, but that would be useless.
