They loved star gazing since they were a small child :> They didn't really have a bad history with the world but it gets hard sometimes, as all things do. They went to a cafe one day and met a nice girl or a boy(most likely Pip-pip(girl)) and it turned their whole view of the universe around and inspired him to do planetary studies with them.
