Click on the rests to change the rhythm to minim, quarter notes, quavers, semiquavers, ti-tika or tika-ti. Click on the letters to change the melody. Click on play to play the rhythm. Click on clear to clear the rhythm and restart.
The idea of this was from rhythm writer which is a great website but my students couldn't access the site from their mobile devices so I did it in scratch so that they could also create rhythms. 20 April 2020: Creates rhythm and plays percussion sounds in 4/4 23 June 2021: Updates to include selected instrumental sounds (piano, glockenspiel, xylophone, bass drum and side drum) as well + 2/4 & 3/4 composition [requested by Jacq] 28 Sept 2021: Updates to include minim, ti-tika and tika-ti.
