She grew up with their parents in Russia. Then the entire family had to move to the US for Briar´s father´s job. Soon after they moved to the US, Briar met a girl named Evelyn. They quickly became best friends, soon enough more than that. They were able to figure out their sexuality and gender identity thanks to Evelyn. Fae knew she could never come out, though. Their parents have always been very strict and harsh on the kids. As well as homophobic. Briar knew if they even so much as tried fae would probably end up stuck in the house, grounded for a long time... just for trying to be herself. Eventually, Evelyn introduced Briar to her friend group, consisting of Raven, who ended up being Briar´s best friend, and a few others.
