"wow cryst ur so late to this its already almost 2022" ok, ok, i know that but i just wanna talk about the state of scratch nowadays. in 2020, so many great animators and great people flooded the site, people like lite and square. the community was thriving, and people like me loved it. i eventually made a ton of friends on the site and it was just as active as it ever was. but now, it's 2021, and while 2020 scratch was a wreck, 2021 is worse. 2020 had so many great people on the site, and so many talented people, but most have left due to the toxicity on the site, irl things like school getting in the way, just being inactive, and people getting banned from the site altogether. honestly while 2020 was a whole train wreck in of itself, it was honestly some of the best times, at least in my opinion, on scratch. but as most popular creators have, i think i'll be moving on soon. not right now, i still have a few months of animation left in me, but i think soon i'll be leaving as a final decision. if you want to talk to me just go on the *gamer chatsite* and enter crayon_#3428. cya, crystal out.
