The title page stays on screen for 5 second. The project proceeds as a news broadcast with my voice as the host's commentary on the issue. There are two interactive games to create public awareness for the issue in a fun and interesting way. The instructions for the two interactive games in the project, are- 1. The car charger game [the issue of the screaming chicken] Tap on each passing car to turn it into an electric vehicle. You score a point for each car turned green. You lose a point if you miss tapping a car. 5 points calms the screaming chicken and the egg hatches (no more smoke and noise on the farm)! It is important to tap at least 5 cars to move ahead. 2. The green pledge-o-meter game (Greta Thunberg slogan) Say the slogan to pledge your commitment to save our planet- "Together and united, we are unstoppable (climate activist Greta Thunberg)" - The louder you say the slogan, the higher goes the pointer on the pledge-o-meter.
I have chosen 'the future of transport' as my creative task. I have presented the idea as a special edition world news broadcast. It has breaking news features relevant to the issue. I have coded and designed two interactive games - the car charger interactive game, and the green pledge-o-meter interactive game. The project has sound elements to make it interesting and look like a real news broadcast from a news studio. I have used my voice recordings and researched on the issues of ethical automobile algorithms and the environmental impacts of technological advancements and innovations in transportation industry. It captures the present and the future of transport. I have researched the material using Google search, Financial times, Stanford university research articles, interviews of experts published in various journals and news articles.
