Click the green flag, sit back, and listen with your ears (have your volume on <3 headphones and full screen recommended) "Something Behind Closed Eyes" || Emma On the day I left, It took two days to walk from the front porch to the back one, and from there to the kitchen. On the day I left, I didn’t cry, but instead sat, wondering what I had forgotten that haunted me so. Something behind closed eyes, Home. On the day I left, I wished to be forgotten because it is only in a state of forgetfulness that brings ignorance. And perhaps ignorance is bliss when it comes to pain. On the day I left, It took two days to gather the mail and greet the neighborhood dog. The postman was gone again and the air was biting as the wind glided in ribbons. On the day I left, It took two days to sleep. My mind was awake and wouldn’t let me rest. On the day I left, I learned to appreciate what I already had. And what I lost. On the day I left, It took a time to come back. And when I did, a day. If I had left, What I had lost, Would never have been known. If I had left, Nothing. Everything is only here.
