!! if the timing is off for your device, try reloading or double clicking the flag !! (also if you dont watch with sound you're missing a lot) Hellooo! I wanted to show people that it's possible to see real improvement to your art over a short period of time, without heaps of effort. *cough cough and also im overdue for an art dump this counts as one riiiiiight* To get the best results, pick one thing to draw, and draw 9 quick sketches of it without a reference. If the sketches take you more than about 15 minutes each (especially the earlier ones), try spending less time on them. Then, after you complete each sketch, take a few seconds to think about the parts you like (and what exactly about them makes you like them), as well as what you want to avoid doing for the next sketch. You can look at a reference to help you do this, but avoid using a reference when you're actually drawing - I find I get too bogged down on details. I like using pen for these because it stops me from being such a perfectionist but use whatever materials make you feel comfortable! Also, remember that art is supposed to be fun - if something I've said to do/not do isn't working for you, do something else instead! <3 Enjoy - and if anyone decides to remix this, I'd be delighted to see what you draw <33 ~ Credit ~ Music - 10 Duel Commandments from Hamilton, with the dialogue between 8 and 9 cut out.
