✧ ☆-------—-—. ✧ ∘ ☾ ∘ ✧. ——-------—☆ ✧ ⤷ ❝ᴍʏ ᴀɴꜱᴡᴇʀꜱ❞ › Tell us a little bit about yourself! Hello! I’m Ash, and I use They/them pronouns. I participated in the August 2021 session. I’ve never really led anything on Scratch but normally I am the group leader in school projects. My timezone is EST and I’m not sure what my family’s plans are as of right now, but my activity level as of right now is 9 on the weekday, and 1 on weekends. Since I am not sure about my plans, I will be sure to have an active (co)-leader. › Why do you want to (co)lead in December? I want to lead because I loved participating in src last session, and I love to try new things. I also want to lead because I want to make new friends and have fun, and I think that this is the perfect opportunity to! I also have planned a lot already. › Some of your campers are getting bored and are starting to chat in your cabin with other campers about what they would add to the studio if they were leading, some of the ideas are great but others are a little off-topic. What are you going to do? I would take their ideas and tweak them a little bit so that they were on-topic. I would also ask them what other activities they would like to do and tweak them also, because I think the campers’ opinions should matter. › You have 2 more chapters to read until you finish the main cabin weekly, but you were supposed to be heading to bed at 9:00 pm as of now it’s 9:05 pm. Your cabin is in second place but if you were to finish your cabin would be ranked up to first. What would you do? I would quickly finish the two chapters, then add them, to finish the main cabin daily. If I can’t finish reading my last two chapters and add the points, I would wait until the next day and make sure that I have enough time to finish the daily. That way I’d be playing a part to help my cabin. › You were gone over holidays and forgot about adding points to the cabin, you only have one day until SRC is over for the session and there are loads of points to be added, you know there’s probably not enough time to do it all yourself so you _______. I would ask my co-leader/leader if they could add some of the points, while I also added some. I would also tell one of the hosts, so they would get a heads up, and know that I might submit my cabins’ points late. › There’s a small riot in your cabin, on one stream of comments two campers are arguing about how because of one person your cabin isn’t going to win, on another stream someone is asking you to explain the rules of yesterday’s daily and wanting to do it today. Someone who’s not even in your cabin is trying to add points and someone else wants to be promoted so they can help out. You only have 20 minutes to sort everything out which you know will probably not be close to the time you need, what will you do to bring order back to the cabin? First, I would go to the person who wanted to be promoted and I would tell them that they cannot be promoted, since only the cabin leader and co-leader can be promoted, but that doesn't mean they cannot still help. I would ask them if they could go and try to talk to the two campers who are arguing, and that I would go help them after I reply to a few comments. I would then go to the camper who wanted me to explain yesterdays’ daily. I would explain the daily and tell them that the deadline for submitting dailies is 11:59pm the day they were first established. Then I would go tell the person who wanted to add points and tell them, politely you can only add points if you are in my cabin. After that, I would go and help the person, who wanted to be promoted, with stopping the argument. If all else fails I would try to contact one of the hosts this session to try to get some help. › Is there anything else you think we should know? I’ve planned ahead a lot, I totally don’t have an entire studio with a description written and activities... For real though, I really hope that I can become a cabin leader this session, and make sure that the campers enjoy camp and have fun reading. I also love to participate in scratch camps. › If you were to get accepted, what genre would you like? (this is just a fun question and nothing is promised, you don’t have to read just the genre you choose, too) You can choose anything as long as it’s reading-related! I would choose adventure. I would call my cabin the Abandoned Adventure Apartment and the theme would be overgrown and mushrooms. My cabin colours would be , , and . The currency for my cabin would be ☘︎. I have a lot more planned out but I’ll share that information if I get accepted. ✧ ☆-------—-—. ✧ ∘ ☾ ∘ ✧. ——-------—☆ ✧ ⤷ ❝ᴄʀᴇᴅɪᴛꜱ❞ › for original project, help with coding, help with cabin planning, and five of those characters are theirs › me for three of the characters, art, and answers › Google for the background › this is home by cavetown
