This is my entry into the N12PP poetry contest. I apologize for the wait :-) I like deadlines! This poem is about a werewolf (hence the name.) I wanted to write a poem about prejudice and I feel like the story of a werewolf is one that has been riddled with prejudice throughout the ages. From innocent children being born on the unlucky day of a new moon to anyone with slanted eyebrows, I feel like I own a tribute to the many people who has suffered from prejudice. I feel like we are living in prejudiced times, so I want This poem to speak to all of the victims of prejudice and other forms of abuse – – and prejudice is abuse!
