Another thing I was doodling at school; I never mentioned them much on here, but a while ago I was working on a species known as Poncho Pals! Poncho Pals was never finished and was shelved a couple months ago, but bored in my classes (and with some encouragement from Pitch) I decided to start working on them again! Nothing here is final (except Lucie, who will be the .*+ mascot .*+ of Poncho Pals), but does anything here interest y'all? Just curious to see if a non-cat species would be popular enough to survive here!
--! Information about the concept art is below! !-- Please look through the concept art I have for the species so far, and let me know what you think! All art is by me! Please don't use it or heavily reference off of it. Music is from Splatoon bc it's what I had lying around ^_^; 1) Close-up of a Poncho-less Poncho Pal! Their necks--known as bases--allow their heads to detach from the rest of their body! While Poncho Pals' usually have a grey-ish skin tone, their bases will have more flesh colors! 2) More notes including hand shapes, head/eye removal and what the inside of the base looks like! PPs' (Poncho Pals) heads plug into their bases like a phone would in a charger! Also, baby PP are called Hoodlings! Since they can't detach their head yet, their only defense mechanism is to run--and run fast!! 3) Concept art for Lucie, the Mascot of Poncho Pals! I swear-- please don't steal her design!!! ;<>; 4) Debating eye rarities! Still figuring out if general eye shapes will come into play, or if only the pupils will be in teirs. The horns on the eye near the bottom are part of PPs' lore--when their heads are hurt, fluids may rush to the area and create temporary 'horns' with the stretched membrane! These naturally go away as the membrane heals and resumes it's thicker, normal shape, but some PPs are born with a frail membrane that heals poorly, so the horns can't heal up!
