BREAKING NEWS: @wwwhttps got banned 2 months ago. @-Cat-Ninja- got banned at around the same time. Now @-pRoview- got banned last month. Any idea why they got banned? None of the three of them did anything bad, or against the guidelines! This is because they got mass-reported. But why? As you see all three of them are famous (well the last one is an alt of a famous scratcher). Some people who were jealous of them and their fame, decided to mass-report them. So the ST got sPaMmEd with reports for a single person. So they thought that the person actually did something wrong, thus banning them. This was the case with the 3 of them. How does it affect the community? - it creates a somewhat "unsafe" feeling to be on scratch - scratchers sPaM the ST and the banned person with tons of messages, which is quite annoying (and by the way, I've also sPaMmEd the ST with messages and then got a warning so please don't try that.) - some people may even leave scratch due to this! - people start jeering at the ST - and so many more! So, we should be good scratchers of scratch and never resort to malicious deeds for the sake of fame.
