The sounds of whispers grew louder, louder never-ending. Is this an ending or a being I thought? Could they be the same? ⠀⠀They sat up, they were surrounded by fluff, swirling and growing and evaporating. I light humming began, and the whispers silenced themselves. They sat there listing to the humming, trying to find it. Wandering around for an unknown amount of time, as time doesn't matter here. Eventually, the humming became clearer, it was a voice. One of the swirls in the cloud had an ever-so-subtle glow. As they looked closer they could see something, but it was strange. It was so bright, unlike the blues and purples which was all it had ever known. They looked around to see all the swirls were filled with pictures. It leaned into the glowing one and suddenly it felt like they were falling, the clouds have seemed to have started working again and could no longer support them. ⠀⠀I boy was laying in the grass under an orange tree listing to an audiobook. Then suddenly all he heard was a scream, followed by a strange-looking creature appearing from a poof of clouds. It lied there seemly dead. ⠀⠀"Who- Who are you!?" The boy cried, his fear-filled voice lined with curiosity. They sat up instantly at hearing his voice. ⠀⠀"Who?" They repeated. The boy just sat there looking dumbfounded. ⠀⠀"I don't know yet. Who are you?" It finally said after a few moments of the boy not responding. ⠀⠀"Uhm. Name. Oliver." His words getting caught. *Insert introduction stuff because this is getting boring.* ⠀⠀"What are you listing to?" ⠀⠀"A book called Frankenstein." ⠀⠀"A Franken-what now?" ⠀⠀"That's the name of-" ⠀⠀"A name! Like Oliver, right? Names do seem to be popular, I guess I should get one." They said interrupting what would have been a lengthy explanation of the book's plot. ⠀⠀"What about Diane?" He suggested. ⠀⠀"Ew, no. I think my name will be Oliver." ⠀⠀"What? That's my name, give it back!" ⠀⠀"Why do you have to be so greedy? Fine, I'll take Franksoup- Franknoodle- Fruitloop- How do I say it?" ⠀⠀"It's pronounced Frank-en-stein. But how about we just shorten it to Frankie?" ⠀⠀"Frankie. Hmm, I like it!" Suddenly the cloud portal appeared again. *Then they say goodbye, and it's very sad. Frankie promises to visit but can't find their way back. The humming keeps happening and they go on lots of adventures, the end.* Shortened version that probably makes more sense: Frankie randomly started existing in a place that is filled with lots of clouds. Each cloud is made of lots of swirls, each swirl holds a different moment on earth. These moments vary in space and time. Frankie can go in any of these. Sometimes one of the swirls will start to glow, this means that if they choose to go in that moment they will learn a life lesson or help others, often both. They can try to ignore a glow but curiosity normally gets the better of them. The first glow helps Frankie find their name. Though later they will get the nickname Inky. It is very hard to find the same moment twice though it's not impossible. Normally a portal back to "cloud world" appears when the adventure is over. They can take people through the portals if they want. Oh yeah, and they are a deity or something similar.
