Just press the green flag and watch the animation!! (preferably keep the volume on but you don't really have to) Exᴘʟᴀɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Generation 1: In the first generation of squares, the majority of the square population was blue. However, blue squares had no camouflage in the green bushes. The predator (the owl) was easily able to spot these un-camouflaged squares in the environment. Generation 2: In the second generation of squares, the majority was green. The predator was not able to spot the camouflaged green squares. More squares were green because the blue squares in generation one were eaten by the bird and therefore not able to pass on their blue allele to the second generation. Generation 3: In the third generation of squares, all the squares were green. The predator could not see the camouflaged squares, so they were not eaten. This population has adapted in order to survive in this environment. Though some blue squares may still be born, the majority will be green UNLESS the environment changes.
