This one is probably pretty self-explanatory. I wasn't really sure what pose to do so this is just kind of generic/random 2. I've never actually done this before! I decided to use a low opacity brush to block out the face and neck. You 'll see why in step 3. 3. I used the block from step 2 to help me see where everything is. I didn't do the ear because I realized that I was planning to cover it up with the hair anyways. 4. Now the face lineart is hidden and I blocked out the hair. 5. I used the gray piece in step 4 to help me add hair to the lineart 6. Now the hoodie 7. finished lines! 8. flat color. I color-picked these form the ref provided in the original project. Why the red background? A while ago I saw a picture with a red background and I thought it looked cool, so here we are. 9. rough shading. Mostly just trying to shape the face. 10. fixed up the shading on the face and added eyes 11. finished! fixed up the shading on the hair and clothes. added a shadow layer and a glow layer
