When I awoke, I was sitting in front of the haunted house, next to the axe. Sammy was nowhere to be seen. I tried to stand, but a sharp pain in my leg made me stagger and fall back down. I sighed and rested my head on my hands. It felt unusually cold. I jumped a bit and touched my face again, trying to confirm what I thought was happening. When I brought my hand back down, it was covered in ink. I laughed a bit, and in my best imitation of Sammy's voice I said "Oh my god, Aubrey, you're gonna die, blah blah blah-" And at that moment Sammy returned, holding a can of bacon soup. "You didn't die in the half an hour I was gone did y-- OH GOD." "I've conjured him." "AUBREY THIS ISN'T GOOD--" "What, the broken leg? Obviously. Also, what happened after I passed out?" He sighed and shook his head. "Whatever. All I remember is seeing you on the ground, with a bloody leg, next to that big theme park ride that was talking to us. Then I brought you out here where it's safe, so I could get something to eat without worrying you were gonna die as soon as I left." "Aww. Aren't you sweet, worrying about little ol' me." "Shut up. I could've just left you there." "Exactly my point." "You don't get soup now." "Cool, it's probably really expired anyway." "Cool, you're probably gonna starve anyway." He opened the can and started drinking it. "How do you consume things? Like how does it work?" "The same way you consume things." "Yeah but like, you have no mouth. Does it just- Fall in there?" He shrugged and continued drinking the soup. "How am I supposed to know? In that case, how can I talk?" "I-- Good point. It's decided, there is a gaping hole hidden behind your ink skin." "I'm now uncomfortable." "It's called the Void." "Stop." -- Sammy's POV. Aubrey told me how they broke their leg. Apparently they have really stupid bones or something, considering they survived an elevator crash with no injuries but a slap from that thing was their breaking point. Oh god. I accidentally made a pun. Anyway. When I started for the last door, Aubrey chuckled and said "Watch out for haunted rides, Sam. Who knows what would happen if we both had a broken leg!" "Don't call me that." "Aw, man. Be safe." "Whatever." When I got inside, I was greeted by Norman. "Oh... Hello." "Hey. Do you know where the last switch is? For the haunted house." "Up the... Stairs." "Thanks." When I flipped the switch and got back, the walls started dripping. The only thing on my mind was to hide. I didn't want to live like I did before. I didn't want to even see Bendy again. I ran for the Miracle Station near the door, glad I wasn't considered "tainted" by Susie's seal and could get inside. Bendy stepped out from a wall. "Projectionist! Come out, coward. I know you're there." Norman made a shuddering sound and walked out from his hiding place in the corner. He probably couldn't get inside the Miracle Stations in the first place. "Yes, Ink... Demon..?" "Are you helping the... What should I call them. Vermin?" "What... Do you... Mean?" "Aubrey and the Prophet. Are you helping them?" "No... I-I don't know... What you... Mean! I've been... Alone... Down here... All day." "Oh, you're a terrible liar, Projectionist. What are you gonna tell me next? That Alice has taken Boris?" Norman looked at the ground. "That's... Not my fault..." "What? You're telling me that witch has him? When he's so very important? Projectionist, I'm afraid it's time the film was cut. Haha, like what I did there?" "...?" "I'm gonna kill you." Norman made a terrible high pitched noise and lunged at Bendy, who was prepared and stepped to the side. He kept going and crashed on the ground, clawing at it helplessly as he struggled to stand up. Bendy chuckled at Norman's misery and watched his fear and panic, enjoying every moment of it. "Goodbye, Norman. You were a good guy while you lasted. What a shame to lose you this way." He knelt down and ripped Norman's head off his body, tossing it at the Miracle Station I was in. "Take this as a warning, Prophet. Next time I see you, you might just end up like your old friend." Then he dusted his hands and left through the wall again, leaving what was left of Norman behind. What he did wasn't enough to deserve that. Bendy just wanted an excuse to kill.
