I never knew why people would hurt black cats and why no one would adopt them from humane societies or wherever else. But it's just because people think too much about themselves and not the cat and its owner. OVER 30,000 black cats are tortured and killed on Halloween. If you see a black cat scoop it up in your arms and save it! And, plus: you get to hold a cat.. I almost started crying last night because of just how sad this is! Just stop it!
