Click for next slide. Make sure that the pieces of greens and veggies, as well as your bearded dragon's bugs, are no bigger than the space between their eyes! You also need to make sure that your insects are gut loaded. You feed them the same veggies you give to your bearded dragon, so they have the nutrients in them when they are fed to the lizard. Something I did not mention in this project is that bearded dragons can also have fruit in their diet. It is NOT recommended to feed fruit as staples. However, blueberry, pieces of strawberry, apple, and very rarely small amounts of orange can all be safe occassional treats.
