This is a complete quiz about the vocabulary of Toki Pona, the easiest language in the word, learnable under a week :-) It uses a toki pona dialect, read notes (you can edit it the list of words (in the code) according to the rules I wrote below if you want the original toki pona dialect ) RULES (it's easy don't panic) The goal is to have a score of 164/164 if you enter the right answer first try, it will get erased of the list and the quiz will not ask you that word again. Congrats, you score is now at 1/164, now only 163 down the way! if the word you entered is wrong, it will show you the right answer and will keep asking it until you type it right. But the word will not get erased of the list. To win, you have to get each word first try, the quiz will ask you them at random. It's not possible to lose points, it's either 0 or +1 Now let's go!
In my "dialect" of toki pona, 3-syllables common words are simplified. Toki Pona is a language which generally has quite long sentences, and in order to remain relatively practictal, it should avoid lemmas of more than 3 syllables. There is over 7000 words possible in Toki Pona with two syllables, there is no need to have three. akesi → akesi (unchanged) alasa → alasa (unchanged) isipin → isin jasima → jasi kalama → kalan kepeken → kepen kulupu → kulu palisa → pasa pimeja → pime sitelen → siten soweli → soli utala → utala (unchanged) ~ Didn't put any music on so you can choose your own :-) ~ There's two common words I didn't include, it's "pu" and "ku". pu is the name of the first book written by the creator of Toki Pona and ku is the name of the second one. ~ impossibles syllables : ji, ti, wo & wu => i, si, o, u (are the possible syllables they can transform into) ~ bunch of common words composed of several lemmas ken la =maybe tenpo ni (la) = present tenpo kama (la) = later, future tenpo pini (la) = earlier past lon sewi = on top, above lon noka = below lon poka = beside, at side lon sinpin = in front, ahead The importance of "pi": ilo kalama = instrument kalama suli =loud ilo kalama suli = big instrument ilo pi kalama suli = loud tool sina sona ala sona e toki pona = Do you know toki pona? sona "Yes" sona ala "No" sina sona e seme = What do you know? soweli li moli e mun anu suno = Did a bear kill the moon or the sun? tenpo seme la soweli li moli e mun = When did a bear kill the moon? soweli li moli e mun anu seme = Didn't a bear kill the moon? akesi laso o pakala ala e pan mi! = Hey green lizard don't destroy my bread o muku e kili sina = Eat your fruit! jan Wapa o moku e kili sina = Eat your fruit, Robert! tenpo suno pi nanpa wan la mi tawa tomo nanpa tu pi jan pona mi = On the first day, I went to my friend's second house. mi mute li kama sona e nimi ale = We have learned 100 words
