Edit- I won her, woo hoo!! For mouse trail click space - I would love to use Orange Ribbons in the book I am writing. Name: Clementine Trinne Gender: Female Family: Only child. Lives with her father, who is terrified she is going to be taken by The Bronze Coats and is always telling her about what a 'sophisticated young lady' she is, which sometimes makes her embarrassed Age: 16 Personality: Kind of sour, but can be silly and say very random things. Doesn't trust easily, but when she can is open and very chatty. Hates talking about what happened to her mother, and even a suggestion about it is enough to make her slightly despise you even more. Kind of feisty, but adores her father with all her heart, for he is all she has left. Likes helping people, but only when she knows they mean well. She's a nice girl, but can be a bit odd sometimes [stuttering, doing random clap games with herself] or not be very tactful. It pains her badly to see things die, for example bugs drowning in water. Status: Blacksmith/baker's daughter Backstory: In the town Peckt, there isn't all peace. There are very severe police in the town called 'The Bronze Coats', who at their pleasing have the right to arrest someone, use them as slaves or some other horrid thing. One day, some citizens protested against this badly, and Clementine's mother just so happened to be passing to buy something, unaware of the protests. She was arrested along with the protesters, as The Bronze Coats thought she was one of them. She was then given away to slavery but just before she left she met five year old Clementine and gifted her a note, saying not to worry because everything will turn out okay for her, no matter what and to never lose hope. Clementine keeps the note in her heart locket on her dress, and looks at it whenever she is uneasy. Clementine has trusted her mother ever since, and has never let The Bronze Coats intimidate her or put her down since. [Note: This is set in a kind of alternate earth, kind of old-fashioned in a way, so it is not supposed to be realistic] Info about the book: Group of people who stumble upon this world changing device that sort of looks like a compass, except with several numbers on it. The main character was seeing what it was, but when she did that it took her and three others to a strange world, when she rolled it to '1'. In this world they meet Clementine, whose father helps fix their world turner which got broken in the world. This is a series, and in each book there is a different world. Characters: Elaine- 12-13. The timid mouse of her strict household, and feels often/insecure often. She is intimidated easily, and prefers spending time by herself, except loves Cass's company. She's over all a nice girl, but can find it hard to connect with others. Cassandra- 12-13. Best friend of Elaine. She enjoys making friends, and is popular though doesn't try to be. She's always running around doing things for her younger siblings, which makes her think she has to do that for everyone, especially Elaine. Doran- 13-15. Marlene tutors him. He is a strong soul, and doesn't care what others think of him. He prefers to cut himself off from his emotions. Loves adventure, and adapts to new situations and environments easily. Marlene- 14-15. Forces herself to make others adore her, and voila, she's in the popular group, practically ruling it. Marlene can be tactless or mean, but she's a pretty friendly person when she doesn't have her "I'm cool" face on. She's also smart, and has a lot of skills. To make it clear, they meet Clementine in the world. I've done far more work on the plot and character development, but keeping it short for now.
