AU idea from this one: Mothwing seemed to have been the fragile med cat in her brother's shadow, but things aren't always the way they seem. SHE was the real evil mastermind behind the plot to kill Firestar. (Hawkfrost had only been trying to stand up to her, and when they were with company, she'd play the victim.) She'd been training with Brokenstar instead of her father, because she didn't really trust her father as much as her brother did. Timeskip to the foxtrapped Firestar scene, we have Bramble walking in on Mothwing and Hawkfrost arguing. Mothwing is staring Hawkfrost down as he talks about Brambleclaw being leader. Bramble kills Hawk, but with the last of his energy, Hawk kills Moth. In this AU, it is Mothwing, not Hawkfrost, who recruits Ivypool to the dark forest, because Hawkfrost went to StarClan here. (Honestly I wish this were canon it would've made Sunset so much betterrr)
