Why I toke I break on Scratch for a few days I took a break on scratch cuz I had lots of things to do... especially to check on my queen ant that thankee FINALLY LAID HER VERY FIRST (own) LARVAE TODAY!!! OMG! (The actual date on when she laid her very first larvae is at October 11, 2021) it'll take a few weeks (2-3 weeks when they grow up) when they become adults...not gonna lie but I keep on breaking my schedule for my check-ant day... (check ant day is my word, it means I have to check on my queen ant after 3-4 days maximum)... and I think I stressed her out a lot... I hope she doesn't eat her larvae >n<... it's hard to be an ant owner cuz you'll have to check ur ant queens after 3-4 days (not kidding but I check them after 10 mins daily lel) ______________________________________ How I got my queen ant? Well in my country, this month is the nuptial flight season... that means ant alates fly in the air mating... after the nuptial flight, the king ants die (cuz they are useless) no offense! and so I was in my kitchen finding just-mated queen and alates but then... I saw a cellar spider tangling (suffocating) a queen ant with its web, I could not let my childhood dreams down so I touched and scared the cellar spider away. that's the start of my very first ant colony. Disclaimer: DO NOT PUT YOUR QUEEN ANTS IN A BIG SPACE (Or big aquarium) YET UNTIL SHE REACHES 50+ ANTS. Trivia: some queen ants can live up to 30 years! it depends on what type of ant it is.
