I just thought I'd make a little project about me because I am so bored and I have no ideas. ~Music~ I mostly listen to old rock, weird music, and Celtic music. I like Enya, Libby Roderick, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Talking Heads, Imagine Dragons, Loreena McKennitt, and sometimes Jars of Clay. So yeah. I also like singing (even though I'm kinda bad at it) and I don't play and instrument. I'm pretty sure my favorite song is Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel. ~Reading & Writing~ I am a grammar nerd I spend like 50% of my day reading. Most of the time I only write in my head. I have so many story ideas it's ridiculous Tui T. Suterland, Robin McKinley, Terry Pratchett, Rick Riordan, and Madeleine L'Engle are some of my favorite authors. My singers/bands list is longer that my authors list because I only put my very favorite authors. If I did anything else we would be here all day. My favorite series are Wings of Fire, The Heroes of Olympus, and The Lord of the Rings. I have read Warriors and I have a story based off of it, but I kinda outgrew the series and haven't read a word of it since the summer of 2019. My favorite novel is Deerskin by Robin McKinley. Do NOT read it unless you are at least 14. Maybe older. I want to read Barbara Hambly's books, but I'm not allowed to until I'm 16. I like reading fantasy. Can you tell? I write poetry. You don't get to read it. My sister tells me I'm a good poet but I just don't want to share most of my poems. ~Other Stuff~ My favorite color is heliotrope. It's a kind of purpley-blue color. I like bees And Indian food And I have way too many notebooks I like D&D but I haven't played in a while My room is blue I love dogs but cats are... I don't like cats. Or caterpillars. Caterpillars are disgusting. I won't touch a caterpillar but I don't mind picking up an earth worm. I will pick up a worm as long as it's an earth worm. I can ride a horse. It's fun. I like history. Except for US history because I have had that for literally three years and I'm TIRED of it. ONE year for HALF of world history, and then they changed the standards so that was all we got! Grr Sorry I started raging about the inadequateness of school. I got 3 history books for Christmas last year. I've read one and a quarter of them so far. I don't really like school. My 9th grade courses are fun, though. But gym is terrible. I hate gym. I hate waking up any time before 9am. I have an absolutely terrible memory, except when I have to memorize something. I usually can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday. Or supper. I live in the part of the US where it's hot and wet all summer and then it's hot and wet in fall and hot and wet in spring and then winter is cool and wet. Woohoo. I want to move to the northern great plains when I'm older. I mostly listen to CDs. On a boombox. I feel like I should have been born in the '70s or '80s or something. We watch TV in the evenings. Mostly it's murder mysteries and something we call "the stupid people channel". I am 100% a night owl I have a dog, 3 cats (one adopted us and then had kittens before we fixed her and the kittens. We intended to keep only one of the four, but we couldn't find a home for Tippy), 2 bunnies, 5 hens and a rooster, a goat, 4 horses, and a hive of bees. My sister tells me I'm a barbarian. I'm pretty sure she's right. I am lonely. I have 2 irl friends and then two people who are kind of half friends and one I'm attempting to make friends with but she's just as shy as me, so... I have two Scratch friends, not counting Lightfur bc she's an irl friend. I once accidentally petted a caterpillar. Then I had a tiny conniption fit. I've petted a giant millipede, too. It felt like petting a bunch of tiny smooth rocks all sort of stacked on top of/ beside each other. It felt cool. I'm bad at describing stuff. I like spiders. They eat the flies and gnats. They're also kind of cute. Lightfur and I like RPing with characters we've read about. We also have /way/ too many in-jokes. I like RPing in general too. Especially random ones. On weekends I help my dad cut trees, move wood, move dirt, move compost, build things, stuff like that. My dad always has a project going on. I know lots of songs about murder. I am m e s s y And l a z y And s h y I can not talk to people at all. I mean, what would I say? When I do have conversations I mainly smile and nod. I can either listen or talk, but not both. I'm better at communicating on the Internet bc I can think about what to say and don't have to go "quick think of something now"and just end up nodding and smiling. Besides, it's kind of hard to nod and smile in text. And yet I've filled up the entire description- I also have allergies in spring and fall. I hate them. It feels like I have a cold only I'm not tired. Hablo un poco español
I've also petted bumblebees. They feel like very tiny bunnies. ~Food~ I like chocolate. I drink hot tea. Sweet tea is not that great guys and it can't wake you up. But I guess that's what coffee is for. But I don't like coffee. I like tea. My favorite vegetables are cucumbers and peas. I LOVE homegrown cucumbers. The store-bought ones taste all chemically. We have some volunteer tomatoes in the yard, and I seem to be the only one who eats them. I wonder why. Chocolate rolls are the best desert ever. Peanut brittle, ice cream, Italian ice, and just plain chocolate are close though. I hate cafeteria food. The last time I ate at school I found some mold in my applesauce. I've also eaten some slightly moldy cheese, but that was at home, and home has good cooking. Cafeteria food is usually bad. I should start bringing my own lunch like my *sensible* sister does. ~Drawing~ I like drawing I like drawing cats, dragons, and attempting to draw humans. Most of the time it works. I mostly draw on paper; digital is hard. Random story: My sister and I were watching the LotR movies for the first time, and we were watching The Return of the King. Théoden was dying. I got bored. I started thinking about an earlier scene where Gollum was playing with fish. I laughed. Summer = hot and humid and the best thing to do is hide inside until nighttime or fall Spring = polleny summer with flowers Fall = spring with pretty leaves and is sometimes cool Winter = cold and drippy and horrible Riverfur (brown tabby) is me and the other two are my sister. Rosefire is her crazy part and Gingertail is the more sane part. If you want to know why she has two cats ask @Lightfur3000. Also I just realized that drawing is horrible but I'm too lazy to go fix it. I have one sibling, three half siblings, and way too many cousins. So yay.
