Great way to practice hotkeying to specific slots in Minecraft PVP and will help you out a lot, especially against players who scroll if you know your hotkeys. Being efficient at using hotkeys can help you get to items a lot faster and make every move feel more intended to make your reaction to situations faster and survive more. - To begin, select a gamemode. Practice mode: Mistakes don't matter, and the program will just tell you if you made a mistake. Endless mode: Try to go as long as possible without making any mistakes. If a mistake is made, the game stops. Afterword, you will set your keybind. The program asks you to set your keybinds from 1-9. Currently, mouse inputs are not possible and you can only use keyboard buttons. Then, it will ask you how long you want each round to last. This is the amount of time you get to press and hold your keybind before you lose. Click reset if you made a mistake, and start when you are ready to begin. A red square will show up in the hotbar slot that you need to hotkey to. Press and hold your assigned hotkey until the square moves to another slot or flashes (In which case just continue holding down your hotkey and wait for the square to move, as the selecting process is randomized and you can get doubles)
*Make sure you press and hold your keybind during each round until the square moves, otherwise you'll lose. *Also, make sure that you go through every keybind before starting or making changes to your mistake, otherwise the program might get confused. *Nothings stopping you from setting the keybinds the same and cheating to get everything right, but there's no leaderboards so you're only ruining your own ability to practice and get better. These problems are fixable, but currently the program is optimized for minimal programming and not user convince, which I plan to fix when I have the time to do so. You could also remix the program if you want to fix it yourself. An idea could be to have a selector sprite that moves when you click a key, and to have the program detect if the selector sprite is in the right place rather than if the key is pressed. Making changing your hotkeys easier is also on the waitlist, which could I'm planning to incorporate similarly to the minecraft menu where you press on a button to change each one so you can start without having to go through the full reset process if you made one mistake.
