Download for better quality! This is the first of a series of tutuorials that are meant to help the Scratch community. This is about exporting from Gimp, the free GNU image manipulation program that is similar to that of Adobe Photoshop. Here are some basics: 1. Saving as a .gif file gives you the best quality in Scratch 2. Gimp can make thisngs transparent and you can fool around with color and brush transparency but it won't show up in Scratch 3. Gimp is completely FREE! 4. It is very hard to learn when you first start out with it 5. It is a free substitute for Photoshop but lacks many features and Photoshop is more automatic, Gimp is more manual 6. You can make your own icons by saving a file as .ico If you have any questions or if you want me to make a tutorial on something, just comment and tell me so! /// Just remember, I am running an (extremely modified) Windows XP Office Pro 2006 computer so I don't know if this applies for Linux computers, iMacs, or any older versions of Windows! /// If this project doesn't work, download it and restart it and it should work after one or two tries! -Mirror27studios
