She was helping herself to a cat-crunchy (which was scrumptious). Shine (as you might have guessed) was a cat. She was just going to sleep when… “woof!” “Awoooo” wailed Shine (at the time, her owners were away). She cried again- no response. So she just went to the cat flap and… a head peeped in! It was a dog! She realised that he was alone too and soon let her new friend in. He told her about his owners and how they died and that he only came because he wanted a new home. He ate scraps of rubbish! He asked if he could share Shine’s home. Shine said “yes”, but she did worry about her owners coming home. (One of them was only five and was scared of dogs). The boy in the football T-shirt is 9 and is called Adum. The little girl is called Disey Ding and is five. The lady is called Strike and is 23. The man is called Richerd and is 62. (Note- the writing changes colour here, so I obviously stopped writing then, at least for the day.) I know this is a strange family”… Huh. It stops there.
