Swiftrunner has always wondered why the Nightwings are bowing to a Rainwing. Even her mother agreed to it. And her father was a friend to the old Rainwing queen who started this in the first place. Her father lived up to his dream to be a librarian. She got to see him a few times at Jade Mountain and sometimes he came a visited them. But he soon passed because of a stupid sickness. "Mother? Can we go to Jade Mountain?" asked Swiftrunner. Her mother turned her head. "Your father has left you with all his scrolls and asked you to make copies and publish. Have you not done his wish?" Fatespeaker continued with her cooking to please the other Queens. Swiftrunner sighed then stomped to her room. "The Mysteries Of The Second Unknown Continent. Ooooo. Spooooky. Ugh. Thats the name you had to come up with, Dad? 'The Mysteries Of The Unknown Continent'? Please. Like anyone interested in MORE tribes being brought here. The only dragons we need are the Leafwings 'cause they make our continent bigger." complained Swiftstalker. She sighed as she make the copies of the scrolls. When she finished a few, she grabbed and handful and flew off. Instead of heading to the Rainwing village, she turned the direction of Jade Mountain Academy. “If mother won’t take me, I’ll take myself. At least I’m there for business instead of fun or visiting.” She gave a look at the passing dragons that flew beneath her then continued. After a few minutes, and landed at the entrance with the red rug under it. “Something new?” she questioned as she looked at the paintings. The first one showed the Dragonets Of Destiny. “Well, that’s unfortunate. The only ones alive would be Queen Tsunami, Princess Sunny, and Clay.” The next one showed dragons she heard off. “Moon, Kinkajou, Winter, Turtle, Qibli, and Peril. Luckily, their still alive.” And the last one showed the dragons that save Pantala along with Cricket, Sundew, and Luna. She ignored the paintings of the best students on the way to the library. Once she entered the Library, she gave a wave and smile to the Seawing and Skywing dragonet. “Constellation?” Swiftstalker tried to look over the desk to find him, but no luck. “Ow! Darn table. Oh! Hey, Swiftstalker. Now I get your name.” Constellation gave a smile at her and she smiled back. -He’s sooo cute. Good thing he can’t read my mind- thought Swiftstalker. “Yes. My name is very descriptive. And hit your head on the bottom of the desk again. Come on! A blind dragon worked here and knew his way around. Are you more blind than him?” teased Swiftstalker. “Don’t make fun of your father. Now, I guess you came here for a reason.” He handed his talon out and Swiftstalker gave him her fathers scrolls. “Copies from my fathers scrolls. Oh, and ever heard of the second unknown continent. Like Pantala?” asked Swiftstalker. Constellation picked his snout up and shook his head. “No. Sorry, Swiftstalker. I’ve heard no such thing. But I’m guessing one of these if about the second unknown continent.” Swiftstalker shifted her wings for her to sit comfortably on the chair. “I just don’t get it. Starflight didn’t have any powers like mind reading and future seeing. So, how does he know about another continent!?” shouted Swiftstalker. All the dragonets shhh’ed at her and Swiftstalker covered her head with her wings. “Let’s talk.” said Constellation, pointing to the entrance. Swiftrunner made her way to the entrance with Constellation following. “Continue.” he said politely. “Like I was saying, it just doesn’t make since. Moon was basically the only one who could see the future. Unless she told Starflight. But he would’ve told someone. It just doesn’t make since and my head hurts." Constellation wrapped his wing around Swiftstalker. -He’s so close!! Eeee!!- shouted Swiftstalker’s mind. “Tell you this. I have a apprentice that can take over for a few days. We’ll figure this out together. Let’s get you home.” They both made their way to the entrance of the school. Swiftstalker grinned at Constellation and made a comment to the school. -I don’t come here to learn, school. I only come here for him. What would you do if you loved someone?- After that lovely comment, she and Consternation took off to the night sky. “Night time is my favorite time of day. See that? If you connect the stars together correctly, it makes a constellation. Haha! Like me.” Constellation laughed as he taught Swiftstalker about constellations and stars. “Have you umm..ever had someone special in your life? Just asking.” asked Swiftstalker with a shrug. “Sure! I’ve had lots of crushes. But I settled on one and she’s perfect for me.” Constellation responded with a shrug back to her. -As long as your happy, my star.- Swiftstalker loved the night because her wings were like the stars. It was the only time she felt free. "I've never seen you do barrel rolls before." Swiftstalker gave a nervous chuckle then stopped and just flew towards the jungle. "I think it's dumb that we have to bow to a RAINWING!
Continued: One of my least favorite creatures." complained Swiftstalker. Constellation sighed, "Well, they did save us from the volcano. Without them, I wouldn't be here flying right next to you. But you'd be alive." Swiftstalker looked away from him. -Is that true?- questioned her mind. It was true. If the Rainwings didn't save her tribe, only her and her mother would be left. "I guess I can wait for my chance a little while longer." she said with a smile. Sundew, Cricket, Luna, Starflight, Sunny, Tsunami, Clay, Fatespeaker, Moon, Peril, Winter, Glory, Qibli, Turtle, and Kinkajou belong to Tui T.
