Click on the sprites! Story of her past below... Kim woke up, under the deep moon... it had been a long day. She couldn't find her family and wondered where they had all gone. She lifted herself up and looked at the puddle where she had gotten water, which was mostly dried up, but glimmered like crystals when the starlight hit it. It made her think of the cat she had met a few days ago... Spots, wasn't it? She stretched and stared off into the crossing allies, wondering if the kind tom was still there. She headed off, remembering his deep earthy scent. She found a fresh trail, but it was hard to follow... She tried her best and ended up in a cave with a glowing white stone. She gasped in amazement at the beautiful pool of water, which sparkled even more than the puddle. But her amazement was suddenly taken away when she heard horrible, pained screeches and looked around the water. Spots... A huge black tom was arched over the young calico tom. Spots, the calico tom, was begging for mercy. He had a deep scratch on his right eye, which looked as if it had blinded him. The black tom laughed, as if he was enjoying the young cat's pain. He slowly sunk his claws deep into Spot's neck... it seemed like forever until the horrible cracking stopped. Even though Kim knew it had only been a few heartbeats... Spot's neck hung limply, almost detached from his shoulders, and the tom started tearing apart his body and threw it out of a hole in the cave. It landed with a crack on other teared bodies outside of the pool. He then touched his nose to the pool. "Forgive me, dear spirits, for I have killed five tonight... Spots, Snowflake, Umber, Lilith, and Reagan. Forgive my murder." He lifted his head, sighed, and fluffed out his pelt. He looked very handsome when he wasn't killing cats... he turned around the pool of water and saw Kim, for the first time. Suddenly, he disappeared in the shadows. Kim stumbled backwards, gasping... Who was that strange cat and what was he doing? Kim = Echopaw
