Yeah the link isn't working so I'll just copy and paste it. My Hero Academia AU PROLOGUE You clutched your mothers hand, unsure whether to be excited or nervous. Looking up, it was a cloudy day. Your father was at work, as he usually was, but he promised to pick the phone up when you got your results. On the way to the doctor's office, it started to rain. Picking up the pace, you and your mother reached there before the rain started getting heavier. “I’m sorry Y/N, I forgot to bring an umbrella!” your mother sighed. “We’ll have to walk home in the rain…” Wiping your feet on the front door mat, your mother opened the door to a blast of warm air. A smiling receptionist greeted you and showed you the way to the waiting room. After a couple minutes of boredom, a voice called your name. Standing up, you looked at your mum for confirmation. Another boy, with green hair, and his mother walked out, in tears. You felt sympathetic for the boy, as you could be walking out the same way. He looked around your age, 4 - 5. Fighting the urge to just run away, your mother leads you to the room. The room was plain white but it was littered with different medical tools for obvious reasons. The doctor, pointing to the chair, you hopped in, eager for this to be over. After a couple of minutes, the doctor comes out with an x-ray scan. “Unfortunately, your child… is quirkless.” the doctor stated. You didn’t want to hear the rest. Eyes filled with tears and dripped down your face. Your dream to become a hero, just like your older cousin, was over. All Might, your idol… could you ever be like him? The rain had calmed down by the time you exited the building. Trying to soothe you with words, your mother tried her best to comfort you and make you feel better about yourself. But it just wasn’t the same. Without a quirk, you felt like a nobody. The odd sock in the drawer. The black sheep amongst a crowd of white. The world had made it seem that not having a quirk made you a nobody. Your mother looked down at you, clearly saddened by the previous events. Miserable, you clutched her hand. Surely you shouldn’t give up being a hero just because you're quirkless… right?
