Heyo! Over the weekend I completed another Rainbow Loom Project, a one-off creature I've dubbed Nexus. I just love making one-off creatures. No pattern, no reference, no prior idea going into it. There's just something so freeing about making a design from scratch and not having to worry about it. Space to browse 1. Profile 2. Close up of the face 3. A Size comparison with Freak About: Name: Nexus Pronouns: Genderfluid; She/He/Them Species: Unclassified Extrterrestrial The rest is up for debate Colors Used: -White -Seafoam -Neon Green -Ocean Jelly -Jelly Yellow Other: -The Teal stripes are embridered on top of the already completed body -the tail is a super-flex hollow tube with the spines sewn in -The Shoulder bits are also sewn in because I didn't know exactly how to go about placing them. -The head is basically Coutney Nicole of How to Loom Your Dragon's Baby Cloudjumper/Storm Cutter from HTTYD2 -The inner arm fade was inspired by Spider Gwen from Spiderman Into the Spiderverse as i was watching the movie when I was making the arms and said 'that could be cool' and in my opinion, it was cool. -The longer index finger was inspired by the Aye-Aye because I didn't have a design like that -The general body shape was inspired by my previous Freak project -The legs are just Freak's legs, but altered to fit my taste Other: I started this beastie several weeks ago, but due to school I didn't get a chance to work on them until this weekend I just came home from getting my Learner's Permit. Got it on the first try!
Character: Nexus Nexus was designed by and is currently owned by @Twinkle_Toes9603 Nexus as a character and as a Rainbow Loom Figure is not up for sale as they already have a loving home with me. I do plan on getting an Etsy or other onlince store to sell my projects in the future.
