♥ Eight more eco tips ♥ These are not in any order of priority, i just thought of some random eco tips Oh and btw let me know if you’re thinking about any if these I hope none of this came out wrong in any way. Don’t feel pressured to do any of these, of course, but please think about it if you can ♥ 1 Switch to a renewable energy supplier like wind or solar. Wind and solar power is so much better than coal, oil or gas (don’t be fooled by companies that /pretend/ to be green when really only 5% if their energy is sustainable or something,) I know a lot of people on scratch aren't in a position to decide something like this, but i’m just trying to get people thinking. ♥ 2 get a bamboo toothbrush. “Normal” plastic toothbrushes are horrible but bamboo ones are(should be) sustainable and biodegradable. Also in my opinion they look nicer ♥ 3 get bars of soap instead of bottles -no plastic -they smell nicer ♥ 4 Almond milk and oatmilk This one speaks for itself, they’re good vegan alternatives and taste very nice ♥ 5 plastic bottles! They’re terrible for the environment, and every month of average 13 bottles per person are thrown into bought in the usa. But you dont need plastic bottles! Bring your own reusable bottle or reuse ones you’ve already bought. Go to refill.org.uk to find out where you can refill stuff ♥ 6 on the subject of refilling, try and find out about a local loose food shop. The idea is you bring along you own containers and they fill it up with dried goods and stuff. ♥ 7 watch the earthshot prize (i think its only on the bbc) It’s a very good show about different environmental problems and amazing people who have been coming up with solutions. Every year five projects are given a million pounds to go further with their amazing ideas! Watching it gave me so much hope for the future. ♥ 8 buy some reusable masks. Again like the soap- No plastic 102 million disposable masks are thrown away In the uk alone each wEEK Also they look nicer. Notice a trend here? ♥
