BACKSTORY (lmao, lots of commas and possible cringe. You have been warned.): Hern says he's an orphan, but his mother lives in region 4 and his dad disappeared years ago. His dad left him as soon as he was born, before returning years later after realising Hern innate had potential for criminal use.He'd always idolised his dad, and so leapt at the chance of growing closer to him. He learnt everything he knew from his dad, stealing small items and tricking the police to help. However, on his biggest job yet, Hern couldn't bring himself to burn the house down. As his father waited, ready to attack his son if he couldn't drop the match when a troop of knights passed by. Thinking he'd been betrayed by his son, Hern's father dropped the oil lamp, and locked Hern in the cellar. The building went up in flames, thankfully, Hern survived with small scars that faded with time. What happened to his father is unknown.
